Subscription and other purchases

You will be billed $6.00 per month for the subscription plan, which includes credits for 3 downloads per month, with a maximum of 2 ringtones. Unused credits in the month are not carried forward to the following month. The subscription plan renews automatically if it is not cancelled. The charges will appear on the invoice from your wireless carrier. Text message charges, download fees or other standard rates can apply. A text message and data package is recommended.

Items that are purchases as part of a promotion or on a per-unit basis are billed $3.50 per ringtone and $2.50 per wallpaper directly on your wireless bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Your service provider may charge download or data fees according to your plan.


At what point am I billed?

Billing is initiated once the item requested has been downloaded to your phone. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PHONE IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE CONTENT YOU ARE ORDERING BEFORE PROCEEDING.

To stop your subscription to 61215 Mobile, send a text message with the keyword STOP to 61215 from your mobile phone..


Is my phone compatible with this service?

The list of phones that are compatible with the service is updated as frequently as possible. You should consult this list (by clicking here) before attempting to download the product in order to ensure that your phone is compatible with the service. If your phone is not in the list, please let us know by filling out the contact us form.


 

Ordering a ringtone or a wallpaper for your phone

BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR PHONE IS COMPATIBLE WITH TRUE TONES OR REAL TONES AS WELL AS COLOR WALLPAPER BY CONSULTING YOUR OWNER’S MANUAL OR BY ASKING YOUR WIRELESS SERVICE PROVIDER.


From the Internet site

  1. Chose the desired content
  2. Enter your cellular number
  3. Enter your wireless service provider
  4. You will receive a PIN if it is your first purchase.
    • Please keep this PIN since it will serve as your password.
  5. Enter your PIN in the space provided
  6. You will then receive a a WAP message on your mobile phone, and/or a text message to download the item to your phone.

From a radio ad or promotion

  1. Open a wireless browser
  2. From the main MENU options, chose New Text Message
  3. Create a NEW Message
  4. Enter the keyword announced (ex: CODE) as a text message
  5. Enter the short code announced (61215) as the “TO” destination
  6. Send your message
  7. You will receive a WAP message and/or a text message to purchase the product
  8. Follow the instructions on your phone from here…

IF YOU WISH TO ORDER YOUR RINGTONE OR WALLPAPER FROM THE CONFIRMATION MESSAGE RECEIVED, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS IS ENABLED. SIMPLY CLICK ON THE LINK AND FOLLOW THE PAYMENT AND DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS.


Why is a PIN necessary?

A PIN is required in order to ensure you are in fact the holder of the mobile phone. This eliminates the potential for someone else to download items onto your phone.


What do I do once I have received my SMS with the URL to purchase?

  1. Open the received message
  2. Find the download URL (starts with http://))
  3. Click on the link and you will automatically be connected to a WAP site to download
  4. Follow the steps indicated
  5. Accept the fees indicated
  6. The downloading will begin
  7. When the downloading is completed, save the content in the location of choice on your phone (ex: Ringtones, Music, Multimedia etc)
  8. From the respective folder, select the file you received and downloaded and set it as the default ringtone, or assign it to a specific contact
  9. Tell your friends and ask them to call you so you can enjoy your new ringtone!

Note: Do not interrupt the download process, let it complete.

Sometimes cell phones don’t allow you to click on the URL directly:

  1. Open the message received
  2. Go to MENU and select GO TO

  1. Open your WAP browser (Mobile Internet)
  2. Return to your Inbox
  3. Open the message received
  4. Click on the link.

I didn’t receive a message, what do I do now?

Ensure that the WAP push (WAP message, web alert or other) is active on your cell phone. Depending on the model of your cell phone, you should configure the WAP parameters to “ON”, “Active”, “Activate All”, “Always” or “Receive All”. Here is how to locate these settings:

Nokia:
- Services > Settings > Service Inbox settings
- Messaging > Settings > Service Msg

Motorola:
- Messages > Browser Msgs > Menu Button > Browser Msg Setup
- Messages > Browser Messages > Browser Msg Setup

LG:
- Internet > Push Messages > Receive
- Messaging > Web Alerts .

Samsung:
- Fun Box > WWW Services > Push Messages > Setting
- Fun Box > WAP Browser

Sony-Ericsson:
- Messaging > WAP Push > Allow Push
- WAP Services > Push Messages
- Messaging > WAP Push

 

If your cell phone does not support the reception of WAP messages, we will send you a text message within 30 seconds that contains the URL link to purchase the product. You will find this message in your Text Message Inbox.

If your provider is experiencing technical difficulties the time to receive this text message may be delayed. Please be patient.

If within several hours you have not received your text message, please contact your provider to ensure your cell phone is set up to receive text messages. You may also contact one of our Customer Service department.


How do I access the mobile Internet?

It is possible that WAP is not configured correctly on your mobile phone. Please consult your wireless service provider’s Web site for more details and configuration information by clicking on one of the links below:

What is a short code?

Short codes, also known as short numbers, are special telephone numbers, significantly shorter than full telephone numbers, which can also be used to address SMS and MMS messages from mobile phones or fixed phones.
Generally short codes are made of 5 to 6 digits.


Why use keywords?

We ask you to use keywords in your text message in order to identify the product you wish to purchase.

What do I do if I encounter an error message during the download process?

If your keyword is not recognized as a valid keyword, or if you are trying to participate in a contest or vote that has expired, you will receive an error message and your participation will NOT be charged.


What is done with the information retrieved?

Your informations are kept confidential.
